This photograph was shot the last time C.J. Snare played the M3 Rock Festival with Firehouse.
Performance-wise, C.J. Snare captivated audiences with his charismatic stage presence and connection with fans, performing tirelessly with the band for over three decades. I always tried to capture that charisma when I photographed C.J. onstage but on this day, I looked up from the photo pit to C.J. standing above me, having just finished the song, he lifted his hand to connect with the crowd and they happily obliged. I saw this moment for what it was and took this photo but after the passing of C.J. Snare I revisited this shot and it struck me differently because now, it's not a matter of the song being over. The connection he is making with the crowd in this photo means much more now. It now represents that connection and, to me... I see him not only thanking us all but assuring us that he will always be with us... in our memories, in his music and in our photos.
I'm very happy to have captured his moment and I wanted to make it just a little more special. I've subtly embedded some of C.J.'s lyrics to the Firehouse song, 'I Live My Life For You' in the photo as a message to all of us fans. <br>

PEARL gives the photo a dynamic BOOST that makes it look like it’s almost jumping off of the page. Similar to Kodaks ‘metallic paper’ these photos are printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Pearl Paper which boasts a wide tonal range, producing prints with a rich textured quality.
Purer whiteness enhances freshness of the image
Clearer, more distinct images and a sharper text quality.
Expanded color reproduction range with high color saturation

Metal Prints are the most vibrant of all print media. These are created by infusing an image onto a raw aluminum sheet.
HANGING: A stainless steel standoff is built into the back which eliminates the need for a frame. The print will ‘float’ less than an inch off the wall.
All Metal Prints are 2mm thick and are finished with a protective white gloss.
The metal substrate used in production has tiny bumps and imperfections that make each piece truly unique.
CLEANING & CARE: Keep Metal Prints indoors and out of direct sunlight. Handle the surface with care to avoid scratching.
Metal Prints can be cleaned with a dust cloth or with glass cleaner and a clean rag.
